Though they’ve won their last two games, the Dallas Cowboys have looked very vulnerable in their wins against the Saints and Washington Football Team. Dak Prescott has thrown three interceptions and two touchdowns in his last two games, prompting Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to level some very light criticism against his recent performance. While Jones is confident Prescott will figure it out, sooner is better than later, as the Cowboys now find themselves a game back of the 10-3 Packers, Cardinals, and Buccaneers.

For the New York Giants, reports are indicating that Joe Judge’s job is safe for the time being. Who knows what that ultimately means for Dave Gettleman, but it looks like continuity is a theme for the Giants. Daniel Jones has been out with a neck injury since Week 13, giving Mike Glennon reps for the Giants. The Giants have every opportunity to play spoiler, but they need to play a mistake-free game against the talent-laden Cowboys.

The Cowboys won these teams’ first meeting 44-20, with Prescott posting three touchdowns and over 300 yards. Ezekiel Elliott also had his best game of the season, gaining 110 yards on 21 carries and putting up a touchdown. NFC East divisional games are never “get right” games, but it would be huge for the Cowboys if they can make it one as they try to get back into the No. 1 seed conversation.

However, all of this puts the Giants in a prime position to play spoiler to their rivals. While the interim coach bump may be real, perhaps Judge and his squad get the “coach will be back next year” bump. Saquon Barkley returned to practice Thursday as he continues to cope with an ankle injury, while the Giants remain thin at wide receiver. The spread in this game is massive with the Cowboys sitting as 10.5-point road favorites. Perhaps the Giants can pull off a miracle win amidst what’s been a rolling season.
