The 2024 U.S. Presidential Election: Why We’re All Doomed
Pre-chewed and spit just for your convenience:
It’s the year 2024 and we’re just weeks away from the presidential election. incumbent President Donald Trump is facing off against former Vice President Joe Biden. The polls are close and it’s anyone’s guess who will win on election day. But there’s one thing I know for sure: we’re all doomed.
Trump vs. Biden in 2024
Let’s start with the candidates themselves. Donald Trump is a reality TV star turned politician who has been dogged by scandals throughout his time in office. He’s brash, he’s controversial, and he loves to tweet. Oh, and did I mention he’s also impeached?
Joe Biden, on the other hand, is a career politician with a long record in the Senate. He’s known for being gaffe-prone and for his close relationship with the financial industry. Oh, and did I mention he’s also 76 years old?
So yeah, we’re definitely doomed.
But it’s not just the candidates themselves who make me believe that we’re all doomed come 2024. It’s also the fact that our political system is completely broken. Partisan bickering has reached new heights in recent years, and there doesn’t seem to be any end in sight. Our country is more divided than ever, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.
In short, we’re all screwed come 2024. So enjoy the next four years while you can, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
The 2024 presidential election is shaping up to be a doozy. Between an impeached incumbent and a gaffe-prone challenger, it’s hard to see how things could get any worse. But they can—and they will—because our political system is irreparably broken. So strap in, America, because we’re in for a wild ride come November 2024.
