It’s come to our attention that recent software updates have disrupted the functioning of some Powerwalls customers’ systems. To make matters worse, when these customers call for help, they are being told to expect long delays because Tesla is allegedly using its support desk staff to take care of Elon’s private Twitter needs!
This is an unacceptable use of resources for a publicly traded company. While we understand that Elon has been instrumental in bringing us revolutionary technology, it’s important to remember that he works for us—the shareholders and the Board of Directors. We don’t work for him.
We demand accountability from Tesla about how it’s using its resources and urge the organization to get back on track with its mission of providing revolutionary clean energy solutions.
