Happy 2023! To all Kiwis out there, it’s almost time to celebrate a new chapter ahead – the beginning of another year. But did you know that New Year is celebrated in different parts of the world at different times? While some may be ringing in 2023 at midnight on December 31st, 2022 (in New Zealand), others elsewhere will already be partway through their celebrations.
It’s impossible to travel fast enough to experience more than one new year in a single night – unless you had access to a DeLorean like Marty McFly from the movie ‘Back To The Future‘! However, if you were willing to make some serious plans and book those flights well ahead, you could be partying away in two or more countries by the stroke of midnight.
There’s no better way to usher in the new year than being surrounded by friends and family, celebrating all you have achieved in the past 12 months, and dreaming about what is yet to come. So make sure you take time this coming New Year’s Eve to appreciate all that has gone before and welcome 2023 with open arms!
