With an impressive 22-16 road win over the Cardinals, the Colts are now a near-lock to reach the NFL playoffs.

Indianapolis quarterback Carson Wentz completed 18 of his 28 pass attempts for 225 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Colts capture their sixth victory in their last seven games. Wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and T.Y. Hilton combined for 12 catches, 133 yards and one touchdown. Running back Jonathan Taylor continued what has been a spectacular season, racking up 27 carries and 108 rushing yards.

On the other side, Kyler Murray and the Cardinals’ offense continued their recent struggles. Murray finished with 319 total yards, but he only found the end zone once through the air. He had to deal with multiple bad snaps that cost Arizona yardage and got called for a penalty in the second quarter that resulted in a safety. The Cardinals have now lost three games in a row.

The Colts (9-6) are currently holding onto the top wild-card spot in the AFC. They will face the Raiders in Week 17 and Jaguars in Week 18. The Cardinals (10-5), meanwhile, are now sitting behind the Rams (10-4) in the NFC West standings. They will play against the Cowboys and Seahawks to end their season.
